Aroma Oil Studio crafts room fragrances from genuine botanical fractions, steam-distilled essential oils, and unadulterated plant carriers. We warrant that every product shipped from our Chicago workshop at 720 South Michigan Avenue corresponds exactly to the botanical species, extraction method, and concentration declared on its container label.
We explicitly refuse the use of synthetic masking agents, phthalates, parabens, synthetic polycyclic musks, and cheap industrial diluents such as dipropylene glycol (DPG) or isopropyl alcohol. When you acquire a 1 oz aroma oil ($10–$25 USD), 1/2 oz bottle ($10–$20 USD), 10 mL concentrated dropper ($9–$13 USD), 50 mL studio flacon ($13 USD), or 9 oz reed refill ($20 USD), you receive an undiluted active formulation calibrated for domestic diffusion safety and long-term shelf stability.
Container integrity and tamper-evident sealing standards
Essential oils contain volatile terpenes and sesquiterpenes that oxidize rapidly when exposed to ultraviolet radiation or atmospheric oxygen. To preserve chemical stability, Aroma Oil Studio uses pharmaceutical-grade USP Type III amber glass containers. Our 1/2 oz, 1 oz, and 50 mL bottles are sealed with industrial ribbed phenolic closures featuring polycone inner cone liners. When tightened, the polycone creates a wedge-type hermetic seal against the bottle orifice, preventing terpene outgassing and moisture ingress.
Our 9 oz reed diffuser refill flasks carry tamper-evident aluminum screw caps, while our 10 mL dropper vials feature precision borosilicate glass pipettes seated in nitrile bulbs. We warrant that all containers depart our studio free from micro-fractures, hairline fissures, or closure defects that could compromise the enclosed liquid.
Thirty-day unopened seal warranty and return conditions
Patrons may request a return or replacement for any catalog product within thirty (30) calendar days of verified delivery, subject to strict sanitary and safety conditions. Because aroma oils and botanical blends are sensitive aromatic formulations intended for domestic living spaces, returns must comply with the following criteria:
- Intact Security Seal: The bottle must remain unopened with its original phenolic cap seal, tamper-evident band, or shrink collar fully unbroken and unmanipulated.
- Original Condition: The glass vessel, dropper assembly, exterior carton, and printed batch documentation must be unsoiled, free from liquid oil staining, and intact.
- Verified Purchase: The return request must correspond to an authorized inquiry order processed directly through aromaoil.click or our Chicago studio consultation desk.
Due to cross-contamination risks and uncontrollable domestic storage conditions (such as heat exposure or bathroom humidity), opened bottles cannot be returned for restock or refund. If you are uncertain about a botanical note before committing to a 50 mL flacon or 9 oz refill, we advise initiating with a 1/2 oz bottle ($10–$20 USD) or requesting paper blotter scent strips via our consultation desk.
Transit damage and courier leak replacement procedure
We package our glass vessels in heavy unbleached corrugated kraft cartons lined with shock-absorbent fluting. Nevertheless, courier handling can occasionally result in impact breakage or extreme pressure-induced leakage. In the unlikely event that your parcel arrives compromised:
- Do Not Discard Packaging: Retain the damaged shipping carton, broken or leaking bottle, and interior cushioning material.
- Document Evidence: Take two clear digital photographs: one showing the exterior shipping label and carton damage, and one showing the compromised bottle neck or seal.
- Notify Our Studio Desk: Email office@aromaoil.click within seventy-two (72) hours of carrier delivery with your order reference number and photographic attachments.
Upon reviewing your evidence, Aroma Oil Studio will dispatch an expedited replacement bottle from the same or matching distillation lot within one business day at zero additional cost to you.
Formulation stability, flashpoint storage, and safety limits
When stored in unopened amber glass at controlled room temperature (between 59°F and 75°F / 15°C and 24°C) shielded from direct radiator heat, our botanical aroma oils maintain chemical fidelity for twelve (12) months from their studio bottling date. Once unsealed, we recommend consuming the bottle within six (6) months for optimal top-note volatility.
This warranty does not cover degradation or evaporation resulting from improper handling, including:
- Storage on sunny windowsills or in direct sunlight.
- Prolonged exposure to temperatures exceeding 85°F (29°C).
- Leaving dropper caps loose or unthreaded between diffusion runs.
- Dilution with tap water, rubbing alcohol, or non-approved solvents inside the original amber bottle.
- Mechanical failure of third-party ultrasonic diffuser units, dirty transducer discs, or uncleaned heat basins.

Authorized returns must be securely packed and posted with the assigned RMA number marked clearly on the exterior parcel. Refunds are issued to the original payment channel within three business days of studio inspection.
